Depreciation

Depreciation refers to the decline in the value of a currency. In Forex, when you intend to sell a currency, if the value of the currency pair or security or ask price is less than the value that you paid to get it from sale then it is said that the currency pair has undergone an depreciation.
In financial markets the concept of depreciation versus appreciation is pretty crucial.
Most of the buying and selling takes place on the basis of the prediction of appreciation to a particular currency pair.
Long-term Depreciation in a currency pair leads to a bear market where the value of the currency will decline and the investors are likely to develop pessimism with selling the currency for the existing value fearing a further loss if depreciation trends to be even worse.
The investor must consider Forex signals to learn the trend of depreciation or appreciation of a currency.  The minor depreciation and appreciation of currency in a volatile market in a day forms the basis of day trading.
